Travel leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller – and that’s exactly what we want you to be right now!
With almost a decade of adventure and exploration under our belts, we’ve definitely chalked up our fair share of travel stories. Some are exciting, some are scary, some are fascinating, and some are just downright hilarious (and maybe a little embarrassing).
We believe that these kinds of stories aren’t just unique to us though. We feel like everybody who travels, whether it is for a week or a year, comes back with some kind of awesome, and maybe not so awesome tales.
Today we want you to share your best travel story with us! We’ll be putting together a collaborative article to be published here on our site, featuring your absolute best anecdotes.
Not only do we want to feature your travel stories, but our good friends at Kathmandu have also decided to join the party and have kindly offered to giveaway some awesome gear to the 3 people with the best yarn!
That’s right, by sharing with us your favourite story you will not only have a chance to have it published on our site, but you could also win some sweet kit.
Our goal is to make this article as fun, interesting, hilarious and inspiring as possible. Hope that you can take part in it!

How To Enter
What we’re looking for is your best travel story in 150 words or less. This can be an amazing adventure you went on, an interesting person you met on the road, something funny that happened to you, a bucket list item you finally ticked off or maybe being able to share a special moment with a special someone.
The only condition is that this happened to you while you were travelling. (It doesn’t necessarily have to be overseas. If you have a story from a vacation in your home country that is fine as well.)
We’ll be choosing the best 15 contributions to feature on a new article on our website. From those we’ll be narrowing it down to the best 3 and picking the winners.
Entering is simple.
