Here are the terms and cancellations policies for the NOMADasaurus Adventure Tours.

Terms and Conditions for Cancellations and Refunds

Definitions

“Tour Operator”: The company or individual organising the tour – NOMADasaurus Tours
“Client”: The individual or group booking the tour.
“Tour”: The scheduled trip or event organised by the Tour Operator.
“Cancellation”: The act of terminating the booking by the Client or the Tour Operator.
“Refund”: The return of funds paid by the Client to the Tour Operator.

Cancellation by the Client

  • Notice Period: Clients must provide written notice of cancellation.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    • More than 120 days before departure: Full refund minus deposit and a 10% administrative fee
    • 90-121 days before departure: 70% of total trip cost (minus deposit)
    • 60-89 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost (minus deposit)
    • Less than 60 days before departure: No refund availa ble

Cancellation by the Tour Operator

The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances, lack of participation, or any other reason deemed necessary.

In the event of cancellation by the Tour Operator:

  • Clients will receive a full refund of all payments made.
  • The Tour Operator is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Client (e.g., flights, visas, travel insurance).

Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, political instability, or other events beyond the control of the Tour Operator.
Clients are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover such events.

Changes to the Tour

The Tour Operator reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, dates, or other tour details. In such cases:

  • Clients will be notified as soon as possible.
  • If the changes are substantial, Clients may choose to accept the changes or request a full refund.

Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be made in writing and include all relevant booking details.
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
  • Refunds will be issued via bank transfer, minus any administration costs.

Non-Refundable Payments

Certain payments, such as deposits or special service fees, may be non-refundable. These will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have adequate travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, and other risks.

Clients must comply with all terms and conditions, including payment schedules.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour with the Tour Operator, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.

Antarctica: Crossing the Antarctic Circle

  • Non-refundable deposit of 25% of the value of your cabin for our 2025 Antarctica tour is required to secure your position, paid directly to Quark Expeditions, within 48 hours of registration.
  • Remaining balance to be paid no less than 120 days prior to departure (1st November 2024).
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
  • Payment plans are available, organised directly with Quark Expeditions.
Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your position on this tour due to non-COVID related reasons, a cancellation fee will be applied to your account. This is due to costs that cannot be recuperated such as port fees, obtaining travel permits and administration costs.

For this unique expedition, we are operating and abiding by Quark Expeditions’ terms and conditions, including their industry-leading COVID S.A.F.E policy.
